Privacy Policy

Purely Polish ("the app") is made by Ronan Drumm, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom ("I", "me").

I built Purely Polish to help you learn Polish, not to collect your data. This policy explains what that means.

The short version

• I don't collect any personal data. No account, no name, no email address is needed to use the app.
• No tracking, no advertising, no analytics. The app contains no ads and no third-party tracking tools.
• Your progress stays on your device. Words you've learned, your streak, favourites and settings are stored only on your iPhone.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your learning progress, settings (such as your daily goal and reminder time), favourites, and the reasons you chose for learning Polish. This information is stored locally on your device. I cannot see it, and it is never sent to me.

If a future version of the app offers iCloud sync, this data would be stored in your own private iCloud account, managed by Apple. I would not have access to it.

Deleting the app deletes this information. You can also clear it at any time in Settings → Reset all progress.

Purchases

Purely Polish Premium is sold through Apple's App Store. Payments are handled entirely by Apple. I never receive your name, email address or payment details. I only receive anonymous sales reports from Apple (for example, the number of purchases in a country).

Notifications

If you turn on daily reminders, they are scheduled on your device. No information is sent to me or anyone else.

Audio and speech

Pronunciation audio is either built into the app or produced by your device's own speech system. Nothing you do in the app is recorded or uploaded.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Newsletter (optional, outside the app)

If you choose to join the Purely Polish email list on the website, your email address is stored by the email service I use for that list, only to send you the emails you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email. Joining is never required to use the app.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
